It is always great when you can play the organ with Jaap Keizerwaard.
Here the always cheerful Jean Martyn with Jaap and his 'magic' organ.
Jean Martyn is a well-known theater organist in England and she has also performed several times in the Netherlands. She always puts on a great show, so it was very nice to see and hear her play behind this special Keizerwaard organ.
Jaap en Jan R. at the Keizerwaardorgan |
Jaap's wife Adri: "Do you remember that particular song??" |
It is always nice to get behind Jaap's magical organ.
Have fun trying out everything and having fun playing. Sometimes songs by Cor Steyn try, but also melodies from today. Because, "There ain't no better language than the instrumental language".
Len Rawle also feels at home here |
What a lot of beautiful combinations in sounds |
Len Rawle, himself a master in working with sounds, was very impressed by the combinations that could be made. Certainly the Flute registrations are unique.
So many pitches can be combined.
Len Rawle also made private recordings. He has a beautiful own style that in turn gives a lot of inspiration to others to try something similar.
John Barnett plays beautiful songs |
John is enjoying the organ |
John Barnett, a unique Blackpool organist, plays a lot "at home" on the world famous Wurlitzer-Blackpool organ.
John was therefore also surprised about the technique and sounds of this Keizerwaard organ.
He couldn't be beaten away and he was having a great time. Of course we didn't mind.
A private concert is of course a great honor.
Bernd Wurzenrainer also visited a few times to play on the Keizerwaard organ.
He then takes well-known German organ friends so that they can also enjoy this phenomenal organ.
This experience prompted Bernd to write an article about the organ in the German organ and keyboard magazine
"Okay".
Bernd has shown how you can play Blackpool numbers on 3 manuals at the same time, or rather alternately at a rapid pace (the 'waterfall'). Very impressive.
Eddie Ruhier is also a welcome guest in the Keizerwaard house.
Eddie is famous for his playing on the Hammond organ
Theater organ Eddie is also a true artist.
He has given several concerts in the Netherlands. Between concerts
we also visited the Keizerwaard organ with Eddie.
Eddie, like everyone else, is very fond of the organ. He played it cheerfully.
Howard Beaumont was very pleased with it Keizerwaard organ.
Howard plays a lot at the "Scarborough Spa" where he entertains many guests with his extensive repertoire.
Here Howard plays an impressive one medley of happy songs.
Full of humor and wonderful variety of music.
